Countdown is officially on!

20 days til I leave Detroit and head off to Dublin, Ireland! =) =) I am really excited and cant wait! Who wouldn’t be excited to go to a beautiful country like Ireland and have a cute boy waiting for you when you arrive? Sounds wonderful to me! Haha I have so much that I want to see and do while I am there for 3 weeks, I just hope it can all be fit in. Then if its not it can give me another reason to head back to the Emerald Isle again! Three of those days of my 22 day trip will be spent in London, England. Visiting Ireland and London has been my dream and goal since forever! I am very lucky to be able to have the opportunity to do this. I really have my boyfriend and his family to thank for that! They are letting me stay with them the whole time I am there and I am VERY grateful! <3

I still have no idea what to pack yet. Well besides a rain coat! That was the only thing so far I have been told to bring. Haha Although I don’t have a rain coat and I don’t want to go out and buy one so I will just bring my umbrella. Besides a little rain won’t make me melt. I keep hearing stories from people who have traveled to Europe before to not bring our appliances. Apparently our blow-dryers and straighteners have a field day with their electrical outlets and blows things up. I was already told I didn’t have to worry about a blow dryer thanks to James’s sister, but not sure about the straightener. Hopefully I can find a cheap on in Ireland because I would feel really horrible if I blew all the fuses in the house because of my straightener.

I ordered my pounds and euros. I get them by the end of this week! I am anxious to get them. I think it will make my trip more real. Yea right! I will be in Ireland and it still wont feel real. I might have to be pinched a few times so I know that it is. Haha I am really looking forward to it and seeing Bomber (a horse) because he is the whole reason I am going there…=P haha totally kidding…kinda. =)

I think the only thing I am not looking forward to is drinking tea and having to go home. I am more of a coffee girl, but since the Irish are big tea drinkers I will most likely be drinking that. I hope Jessie likes tea so I can sneak some to her and make it look like I drank it…ahh shoot my plan is ruined now since its on here! I guess I shall do as the saying “When in Rome….” So my butt will be drinking tea…with milk (yuck!) and have to like it! HOWEVER! A certain someone will be drinking coffee to make up for that in America. =) Sounds perfect!

Tomorrow I will post a lot of the places I would like to see and do as well as the things that are already planned.

Slán go foil (English translation “goodbye for now”) But don’t ask me to pronounce it!
